Foreigners who have visited or are currently visiting Korea have shown a keen interest in aspects of Korean daily life such as beauty shops, traditional Korean food, and Han River.

On Thursday, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization announced the publication of an issue report containing these survey results. The report defines the trend of experiencing Korea's natural daily life and incorporating it into travel itineraries as "Dailycation," and includes themes and detailed content related to this trend.

In the "Fashion & Beauty" category, foreigners showed high interest in beauty shops and hair salons (35.5%). Approximately 30 fashion and beauty brands, including Olive Young and Musinsa Standard, were mentioned.

In the "Food" category, traditional Korean food (20.2%) and traditional markets (11.3%) were frequently mentioned. Foods encountered through K-content such as Korean dramas and movies, including K-BBQ (samgyeopsal) (20.2%), cafes and desserts (11.3%), street food (10.1%), convenience stores (8%), and delivery food (5.9%), also garnered high interest.

In the "Accommodation & Relaxation" category, the Han River and parks (19%) ranked first. In the "Hobbies & Leisure" category, shopping (20.8%) and pop-up stores (12.5%) were popular. Additionally, there was significant interest in experiential activities such as one-day classes (12.5%), trekking and hiking (10.4%), festivals (10.4%), and instant photos (10.4%).

This survey was conducted with 243 foreigners from 36 nationalities who have visited or are currently visiting Korea. The Korea Tourism Organization derived insights by understanding the actual behaviors of foreigners through surveys, short interviews, and social analysis.

The Korea Tourism Organization categorized "Dailycation" into six themes (K-DAILY) and presented detailed content in the form of "honey combinations." The honey combinations are:
- Krunch Like Koreans: Eating and tasting like Koreans
- Dive in Like Koreans: Indulging in hobbies like Koreans
- Adorn Like Koreans: Dressing up like Koreans
- Inhale Like Koreans: Breathing and relaxing like Koreans
- Lounge Like Koreans: Enjoying leisure like Koreans
- Yell Like Koreans: Expressing passion like Koreans

Yoo Jin-ho, Director of the Tourism Content Strategy Division at the Korea Tourism Organization, stated, "We hope that the Dailycation content presented in the issue report will be actively utilized in the development and marketing of tourism products."
