The third season of Netflix original series “Squid Game” will premiere on June 27.
The streaming giant announced that the series will return for its third and final season on June 27. It also unveiled a promotional poster and new stills, offering a glimpse into “what’s next for Squid Game hero Gi-hun (played by Lee Jung-jae), his enigmatic antagonist Front Man (Lee Byung-hun), and more characters caught in the terrifying competition.
The second season, which was filmed alongside Season 3, was released on December 26 last year. The first eason premiered in September 2021.
Meanwhile, during its quarterly earnings report on January 21, Netflix announced that Season 2 is expected to become “one of the most-watched seasons of an original series,” with 165.7 million views in the fourth quarter of last year.
