Actress Seo Ye-ji is set to host an upcoming episode of Coupang Play's real comedy show 'SNL Korea' Season 7. This marks her first venture into comedy, where she aims to showcase a diverse range of charms previously unseen by audiences.

Notably, during her first solo fan meeting last December, Seo garnered attention with her cover performance of Jennie's 'Mantra.' Her upcoming appearance on 'SNL Korea' is anticipated to feature a bold transformation, potentially adding to her repertoire of memorable moments.

Expressing her excitement, Seo commented, "I can't believe I'm the host of SNL Korea. It's an honor to stand on the stage of the nation's top comedy show. I want to dedicate all my energy to making people laugh."

The new season of 'SNL Korea' will premiere on April 5 at 8 p.m., featuring actor Ha Jung-woo as the first host. Seo Ye-ji is slated to appear as the host of the second episode.

In 2021, Seo faced a series of controversies, including allegations concerning her personal life, school violence, and academic credentials, leading to a temporary hiatus from her career. She resumed her entertainment activities late last year with an appearance on TV Chosun's 'Baekban Journey.'
